The coyote paused for just a few seconds and stared straight at my lens. For early morning shooting I was on Automatic. Considering the ISO was 8000 and the head came out tack sharp, I was very impressed with the camera and lens. This is one of my favorite images and makes a wonderful print. Nature photography is my passion. I've been shooting seriously for about the past 10 years. My favorite subjects are birds, mammals and insects. As the opportunity arises, I also enjoy landscapes and sunrises and whatever else happens to catch my eye. Red River National Wildlife Refuge is where I spend a great deal of time throughout the year using my photography to document wildlife sightings.
