Here's an all time favorite image of a bobcat kitten. There were two kittens in the plum thicket, and this one decided to climb a nearby dead tree for a better view. The sun was perfect and I was able to get some great pix. Considering it was 27July2014 and sure to be a hot day, I had my short lens on and was looking for dragonflies. Nature photography is my passion. I've been shooting seriously for about the past 10 years. My favorite subjects are birds, mammals and insects. As the opportunity arises, I also enjoy landscapes and sunrises and whatever else happens to catch my eye. Red River National Wildlife Refuge is where I spend a great deal of time throughout the year using my photography to document wildlife sightings. The Visitor Center at Headquarters Unit in Bossier City, LA incorporated many of my images taken on the Refuge into their displays.
