This is our dog Abbey, shortly after we brought her home. Several years later, Abbey is still full of life, mischievous, always seeking attention and is the most hard-headed dog we have ever had. But, there is never a dull moment with her around.
Nature photography is my passion. I've been shooting seriously for about the past 10 years. My favorite subjects are birds, mammals and insects. As the opportunity arises, I also enjoy landscapes and sunrises and whatever else happens to catch my eye. Red River National Wildlife Refuge is where I spend a great deal of time throughout the year using my photography to document wildlife sightings. The Visitor Center at Headquarters Unit in Bossier City, LA incorporated many of my images taken on the Refuge into their displays. I've authored several photobooks about Red River NWR ("Discovering Louisiana's Red River National Wildlife Refuge A Yearlong Photo Journey" and "Refuge Encounters of the Bird Kind.. and Other Species Too").
