This is a favorite image. I couldn't have asked for a better setting. The sun just coming up, but not high enough to clear the trees to my back. The frost was very heavy on this cold morning and a very nice White-tailed Deer buck comes up and stops in the perfect place. Image taken 22December2012 at Red River NWR in northwest Louisiana.
Nature photography is my passion. I've been shooting seriously for about the past 10 years. My favorite subjects are birds, mammals and insects. Red River National Wildlife Refuge is where I spend a great deal of time throughout the year using my photography to document wildlife sightings.
